Sitting Volleyball

Sitting Volleyball Open Participation Session

Sessions will be moving indoors and will be delivered by qualified coaches. These coaches have also passed their Protection of Vulnerable Groups, Disability Inclusion Training and Lead Child Protection Officer training.

Lothian & Borders Volleyball is delighted to offer sessions which aims to integrate abled bodied with disabled participants through the support they have received from The National Lottery, Corra Foundation and Arnold Clark Community Fund.

These sessions are open to anyone and are not restricted to volleyball players. The main focus of these sessions is to allow participants to interact regardless of characteristics. Our sport is open to all and can be played by everyone. The social interaction of a team sport is a fantastic way to enjoy the company of others while we try to re-integrate into society as some of us have been isolating from normal life.

Sessions will be delivered by an experienced Volleyball coach who will not only help the technical skills, but will give a great atmosphere to enjoy the activity.
